How to Get Infinite Coins in Mewgenics
Learn the Pickpocket and Copycat exploit for generating unlimited coins in Mewgenics. Step-by-step guide to the infinite money strategy.
Running low on coins in Mewgenics? This guide explains the Pickpocket + Copycat combination — a legitimate strategy that lets you generate an enormous amount of coins in a single battle.
The Infinite Coins Strategy
This technique uses two specific abilities:
- Pickpocket — a Thief class ability that steals coins from enemies
- Copycat — an ability that duplicates another cat’s last-used spell
By alternating these abilities while keeping one enemy alive, you can repeatedly steal coins without ending the battle.
Requirements
To set up the infinite coins farm:
- One cat with the Thief collar that has learned Pickpocket
- One cat with the Copycat ability (can be any class)
- A battle encounter with at least one enemy left alive
- Patience — this takes time but pays off enormously
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Enter a Battle
Start any combat encounter. Clear most of the enemies but leave one alive — preferably a weak enemy that poses little threat.
Step 2: Position Your Cats
Move your Thief and the cat with Copycat near the surviving enemy. Make sure both cats can target the enemy.
Step 3: Use Pickpocket
The Thief uses Pickpocket on the surviving enemy. This steals coins from them.
Step 4: Use Copycat
The second cat uses Copycat, which duplicates the last spell used by a teammate — in this case, Pickpocket. This steals coins again.
Step 5: Repeat
Keep alternating:
- Thief uses Pickpocket → steals coins
- Partner uses Copycat (copies Pickpocket) → steals more coins
- Repeat until satisfied
Step 6: Finish the Battle
Once you’ve accumulated enough coins, kill the remaining enemy to end the battle.
Important Notes
- This isn’t literally infinite — enemies have a theft limit per turn, but it resets each round
- The exploit works because Copycat duplicates the effect, not just the animation
- Coins carry over between battles and to your home base
- The enemy must stay alive — make sure your cats’ passive abilities don’t accidentally kill it
- Consider using a Tank to keep the surviving enemy occupied while you farm
What to Spend Coins On
With your newfound wealth:
- Buy healing items from Tracy’s shop
- Purchase rare equipment when available
- Invest in food stores for longer adventures
- Unlock shop upgrades through Tracy’s NPC progression
Is This an Exploit?
The developers haven’t patched this combination, so it’s considered a legitimate strategy. However, it does make the economy trivially easy. If you prefer a more balanced experience, use it sparingly — or not at all. The choice is yours.
